- MTU size
- Posted by Paul on May 9th, 2006
I've used ping to determine that my MTU is 1464.
I understand that I can change the registry to account for this. However,
which key should I change?
Is it
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\myadapter
OR
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols\0\ProtocolType
Thanks

one word: cablenut
BUT... w/ XP it really isn't necessary to fudge w/ these things anymore...
but if you're knowledgable then cablenut is the tool to use.
