proliant ML330 power supply
Posted by Lenny on January 22nd, 2008

Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to post but someone will know the answer
for sure!
I have a Compaq Proliant ML330 (Server) (UK) machine and the power supply
has failed. They are very hard to get and I am desperate for one. Does
anyone know where I can get one in the UK. It looks like a normal
powersupply but a lot heavier and with an extra double 4 pin plug two of
which seem to be wired into each other. This one is a Litean model no.
PS-5032-2V1, Compaq Spares no. 216108-001

Is this what I need?

Ebay item 180208955248 ?

....which looks like a cheap Liteon psu. Replace it with a Seasonic, of
Fortron, or Antec Earthwatts, with active PFC line correction to 99% / 85%
efficiency plus :-)

Thanks for the reply Richard, that one on ebuyer is only a normal ATX
supply, the one that I need has the extra 10 pin connector on it. I think I
will wait for HP to get me one. It is about a week.

question has NOTHING to do with OS and it out of place here.
