I too had the problem up grading my AMD 3500 to AMD Opteron 185 on my
A8N-SLI Asus motherboard. I saw the same results as Lucian did in his
first message. I even tried the F5 option on a different spare
hardrive during the Windows install and did not see option for
Multiprocessor. I fixed the problem by finding this HAL utility it is
simple to use and fixed my problem. My Computer device now says
Multiprocessor and I see to CPU graphs in my task manager.
