Re: Installing New Hard Drive In Windows XP (Partation)

I bought a new hard drive. I want to format and install windows xp.
Once I put in the hard drive which end of the cable do I attach to the
drive, the one at the end or the one after that? Their numbered 1 & 2.
After I do that do I put the cd that came with the computer into the cd
drive and start up the machine and hold a certain key down? If I have
to go into the BIO to select drive how and when do I do that? I had the
instructions on how to do this but can't find them.

See the drive manufacturers web site and download another copy of the
installation instructions.
