I suppose this thread is dead now, but since I found it by searching for
scancode map "function lock", maybe others will too.
I have a Logitech Access keyboard (model Y-SR34), and the scancodes
dave posted for the MS keyboard do not work for it.
I have done a little snooping and come up with a Logitech-compatible
equivalent, provided here in case anyone else needs it:
---8<----
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode
Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,0d,00,00,00,3b,00 ,3b,e0,3c,00,3c,e0,3d,00,3d,e0,3e,00,3e,e0,3f,00,1 0,e0,40,00,19,e0,41,00,22,e0,42,00,24,e0,43,00,43, e0,44,00,44,e0,57,00,57,e0,58,00,58,e0,00,00,00,00
--->8----
(All the numbers should be on the same line - if copying and pasting
this into a file splits it over two lines, please delete the gap or it
won't work.
Also notice that this website inserts extra spaces in the middle of
words for no reason. "\Control\" should be one word, no spaces).
Unlike the original, this one maps all the function keys to their usual
selves, regardless of the Function Lock setting. If you need to use the
new fancy keys sometimes, you'll need to do a bit of fiddling to merge
these codes with the version dave posted.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone, as you helped me dave - thanks.
