usb drivers

Can anyone help. Belkin tell me I can upgrade my existing usb 1 connections
to usb 2 by way of downloads. Where if this is possible do I find the
drivers? I have looked in Microsoft and the manufactures website but do not
see any............Please help...

You can NOT upgrade a USB 1 connection to USB 2 by software.
The speed is set by hardware and NOT by software.

Partly true, you need hardware (a simple card) but you also need to load the
requisite USB2 driver embedded in WINXP SP2.

If you have Windows XP with Service Pack 1 , or 2, you already have the USB
2 driver. If you do not see an "enhanced" USB controller in Device Manager,
you do not have the required USB 2 hardware to have USB 2.
