- USB external HDD

I'm using a WD USB Ext HDD that I got for large storage. I'm thinking at my
next reinstall of putting winxp home on it instead of the internal because of
it's large size. It's partitioned & I'm running FS9 from it with no speed
problems. Is it possible to put my OS on it, & use it only?
Thanks,

Basically no, but if you're really keen then you should
have a look at this item, posted in this newsgroup some

Thank you both. I looked at "Booting XP from any USB device" post, & stopped
reading after "disable hyperthreading"
disable hyperthreading
