- usb to parallel adapter sends extra line feeds
- Posted by gardenerstouch on December 12th, 2007
When the electronics in my HP Color Cartridge periodically dies, I get my
out my trusty (never ever fails) Epson AP-5000 dot matrix printer. Only
problem is that it uses 100% cpu until it finishes a print job. Recently, I
bought a USB to Parallel adapter so I can plug it into an interface that
supports throttling the cpu usage down to a usable level. It does that just
fine... only problem is, it adds a line feed between each line sent to the
printer. Is this someone else has had experience with? Know what I have to
do to correct it?
