- USB port not reading devices
- Posted by KKLV on January 29th, 2006
Hello- I have a HP digital camera that has worked fine when connecting to my
comp until today. Now I get a message that reads, "One of the USB devices
attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise
it." I then noticed that the message remained flashing up, even after the
camera had been disconnected. Then, it actually flashed as soon as the cable
was plugged in to the port- before the camera was even turned on. Any help
would be appreciated! Thank you!

The quick solution is to use a card reader.
Now the slower one: Does the USB port in question work correctly with other
USB devices....
