I've used my same webcam(Ezonics MegaCam) with no problems for 2 years. the
other day, out of the blue, it was no longer detected by my computer although
it was plugged into the USB port. I tried to reinstall the driver but get
"Error 1310. Error writing to file:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drive rs\OVTCAMD.SYS.
Verify that you have access to that directory."
please help me!

I tried using the driver from that website but I get that 1310 error. When I
try installing the driver with the software disc I get Internal Error
2755.1624 D:\Driver\setup\EZMegaCam.msi
I have no idea how to fix this.

Try downloading the file from the site and installing that way instead of
your disc. Try this link. http://204.247.157.162/drv_mega.htm . Choose
the file that corresponds to your operating system.

I did try installing it with the file from the website. that's where the
1310 error is coming from.
