I had clean istall of XP Home Edition using Recovery CDs provided by
ACER due to system instability. I backed up all program files and My
Document contents into a removable hard disc. Now after XP istall, how
do I get back my programs like Microsoft Office suite. I do not have CD
for this ( lost it) and many other programs. I have mails in Outlook and
I need to retrieve them as well.
I copied the MSOffice from removable hard disc to Priogram Files ib C
drive but not able to accessa ny of the applications like Word, Excel,
etc and system gives a error message that Operating systemn is not
configured to run these apllications. Is there a way to install these
programs now?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
