- Automatic Hibernate does not work
- Posted by Bob on February 22nd, 2006
I have an XPS 400,running Windows XP Home SP2. When I go into Power Options
and set up the computer to hibernate after 45 mins., it will not work. I went
to the hibernate tab and made sure it was checked. But still did not work. It
seams like the only function that does work, is turning off the monitor after
30 mins. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem, Bob. It will hibernate when I do it manually, but
not automatically. The hard drive continues to spin. Hopefully someone will
offer us some advice.
