- Automatic Windows Update

My big pc runs the windows updates automatically, but on the laptop it
doesnt. I have to do it manually. How can I get windows updates to run
automatically on the laptop please?

Your Big PC, makes me think you have a giant PC, LOL !
Sorry excuse my sense of humour, now to your question, to set automatic
updates go to the control panel and click on Automatic Updates then click on
Automatic ( Recommended ), you can also select a time for the automatic
process to check for updates.

Actually - I went into C-Panel, and automatic updates, as you said - and it
was already set. Hmmm. This morning after another update appeared on the
BIG (lol) PC, I tried to manually update the laptop and it said there were
no new updates. Can't work that one out. Anyway Andy, you did answer my
query, and I thank you for that.
