- Backing up video, sound, printers and other drivers in Windows XP
- Posted by Quek HS on January 25th, 2006
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct way to backup all the drivers (including
the 3rd party) that are installed in Windows XP.
I have noticed that Windows XP always looks for drivers in
c:\windows\system32\drivers.
Does it helps if I just backup the entire drivers folder and restore back
the entire folder back after a clean reinstallation?
Currently my Windows XP can only goes to Safe mode and the repair option
doesn't seems to resolve my problem.
Thanks for all the advises in advance.
Cheers,
Hs
