I have a Sony Vaio PCG-K33.
I recently, found out that WindowsXP Home, has a issue with keeping a charge
for long on lap tops. I tried the hot fix, in regards to this. No go!
The battery is good and takes a charge. Apparently, there is an issue with
power management and CPU settings. The computer sucks to much energy from the
battery.
I have my computer set to, max. battery life. It does not work.
My battery should last 2 to 3 hours on a full charge. It lasts 1/2 hour to
45 minutes.
Can someone help me, with this?
