I have a hard disk drive which will boot up (normal or safe mode) into
Windows XP until it gets to the Desktop and will boot up again (ad nauseum).
It does this when installed on chain0 of another computer. However, it is
recognised when installed on chain1 of another computer. It has been
checked it for viruses and spyware. It has also been checked for errors
(magnetic media).
The fault occurred when software was being installed so it is possible that
the Registry has been corrupted.
Ideas as to how to break into the boot up loop and how the problem may be
diagnosed would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
