People have made recommendations to help me fix windows installer. Despite
trying all of them, I am unable to install any new program and continue to
receive error message Windows Installer cannot be accessed. I have tried
regeit, system restore, msiexec, msconfig, starting in safe mode, etc. I
have tried all of the references from Microsoft. Everything else on my
computer works. Can anyone assist or advise how I can get this fixed as I am
not an expert. Thank you

Have you tried reinstalling WI?
