- Cant change wallpaper - Active desktop disappeared in registry.

H i
I cannot now change may wallpaper, due to malware infection. I have
read the other advice about editing the registry. However the problem
is that I dont have a policies section .
My path reads software/microsoft/windows currentversion/internet
settings.
I have xp home (2002)..
Any thoughts. Can I import these back into my registry.

I just finnished fixing this problem with my computer, and apparently is is
caused be spy sherriff. If you type in sy sherriff in the seach bar on this
page there will be a step by step solution posted be david h. lipman..follow
these instructions and you should be fine.
