Hi I just noticed that I can't check properties of any drive under xp. The
error sig shows the modname "vproshellext.dll" modver 10.0.8400. I tried to
reformat under partition magic 8 and it didn't solve anything. Tried
runnings scan sfc /scannow and it didn't do much. I also noticed under ghost
10 I can't backup the drives as well b/c it won't show up. And they
suggested me to go to properties then choose ghost and do stuff but I get
this error. Thanks

If youre running IDE drives,why use all the 3rd party junk..XP can do almost
all part.majic will,however when thru with a utility like XCOPY,it works.

And this helps how? I'm not good in dos and don't want something to destroy
files when it partitions.
Also when I can't right click the drive to choose format d:\ and it's ntfs
so my bootdisk won't help it's ME.

Shell extension viewer might be able to help you with this problem:

I just uinstalled/deleted the ones that got installed within the past month
or so and it works fine.
I'm keep this program
I think what happened is when I installed the new drive certain programs
that uses the drive messed up.

You're welcome! Glad to have helped. The file name noted in that persistent
error message sure looked like it was support for a shell extension so it
seemed the right way to head.
