Changing file association icons
Posted by The Old Fart on December 23rd, 2007

Often when you alter a file association not only does that program open
it in the future it also alters the icon that goes with it. I have
files that have been altered by changing the file association but the
icon hasn't changed. How do I change the icon?

Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-File Types
Find the extension, hit Advanced and Change Icon
