Whenever I save a picture from IE 6.0, the "Save Picture" window always
opens in a thumbnail view of "My Pictures". Is there any way I can make
it open in the list view insted? Windows Explorer works fine... it's
just when I try to save something.

How about this: Tools -> Folder options -> View, check "Remember each
folder´s view settings"
