'Class not registered' error
Posted by Tit4Tat on October 5th, 2005

I have started getting a pop-up error box which says
'Error while creating the scripter: Class not registered"
every time I (or the system) try to start Spyware Doctor

I have tried deleting the Spyware Doctor directory (from
my secondary boot OS) and replacing it with a backed up
version from before the problem started, but no luck :-(
So I guess it's an XP problem ot a Spyware Doctor one.
(It's an XP Home with SP1 installed)

So if anyone can help I would be most grateful - Thanx :-)

I'm not what you would call computer savvy but if you want to try this
go ahead it worked for me. I downloaded registry cleaner software from
downloads.com and I downloaded spyware doctor again without saving it
during the download process. Then I ran the registry cleaner software
and ran spyware doctor and everything worked great.

I read the other response about what could be done but I don't
understand what it really means to roll back or uninstall BT drivers -
that's just way to technical for me. I decided to try my own intuitive
approach.

Good Luck
