- Conflict between USB Drives and mapped network drives.
- Posted by Joao on November 27th, 2007
Hello,
I have one mapped drive as F:, that I cant change because it works with a
DOS program that uses this driver letter, so if I change the mapped drive to
a late letter lets say X: the program gives me all kinds of errors. However
when I put a USB device driver it assumes the letter assigned to the mapped
drive. Is there any way to change the auto assignment letters for USB
devices? For example when I put a USB device it assigns a letter starting
from the G: and so on.
Thanks
