- Default Email Client
- Posted by colinsp on February 12th, 2006
I have 2 free email accounts - I therefore can not use Outlook Express to
collect any mail from these two accounts. I can not find a way to make my
computer use any of these 2 free accounts as the default email when, for
example, sending a picture or clicking on a "send e-mail" on a web page,
because all I get then. is 'default e-mail client is not properly installed'
I do not use O.E. for anything because of these reasons. If anyone can
assist with advice or a few "Wise Words" I will be most grateful
Thanks in advance,
Colinsp

Why can't you use Outlook Express to access those two accounts?

O/E is not permitted to collect from free a/c's at Hotmail and my other
e-mail host. If I up-graded to a paid mail site, O/E would be allowed to
collect.
