I'm at my wits end trying to get rid of "delayed
write filed" error messages. I recently built a new PC
and I have been getting the errors when I save files
to one of my two PATA drives, not my SATA drive. I've
been searching online for answers and havn't found a
solution yet that works for me. I've tried the

When using the nForce4 IDE drivers I can turn off
write cacheing, didn't fix problem. Using Windows XP
SP2 IDE drivers I'm not able to turn off write
cacheing. I've edited the registry as per the article
to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My
configuration is listed below and yes I have updated
BIOS and chipset drivers.
