If you've tried everything then there's nothing we can do to help?

Have you tried these:

#1
CTRL + ALT + DEL
Processes tab
Check for instances of "explorer.exe" and if they're there right click and
end them
File
New Task
Type "explorer.exe" without the quotes, let it load, and if it brings up the
deskto then reboot

#2
Use the boot menu and select last known good configuration

Safe Mode :

#3
Same as #1 but with restore instead?
Instead of typing "explorer.exe" type this instead:
"%SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe"

#4
Seeing if you can access Safe Mode Without Networking
See #2

#5
Checking for malware?

Malware Cleaning:

#6
Do you have it set to automatically log on to a profile?
If so, is it corrupted?

Corrupted Profile: Windows XP :

#7
Checking for applications that start on boot that might be causing this
problem?
Pesky Startup Apps :
http://kgiii.info/windows/all/general/startupapps.html

#7 Implies you can access the OS in some capacity and at least the CTRL +
ALT + DEL brings up the menu...

#8
If worst is true then repairing the installation of Windows?

Anyhow, if you've tried ALL of those then I'm not sure what to say other
than a bare metal restoration option.
