- Dim backlight only in XP?
- Posted by Noozer on January 6th, 2008
I have a Gateway T-6815 laptop. I've just formatted the machine and
installed Windows XP Pro SP2.
I had no problem locating drivers for this laptop and installing them, but
for some reason, the Intel 965 driver turns the laptop backlight almost
completely off. The laptop is not usable this way.
I've tried making power saver adjustments in the Windows control panel. Also
made changes in the Intel control panel... No change.
Does anyone have any idea how to work around this?
