DLL fails to register

I am trying to register a Symantec file IWPLUCBK.DLL and the registration
fails with the error message 0x80070005. Does anyone have any idea why is
this happening?

Hi

Can you try reinstalling LiveUpdate?

0x80070005 denotes Access denied. Make sure you're logged on as
Administrator, and try the registration.

I have an administrator's account ... do you mean I should log on with the
Administrator's account? I'm not sure how to do that.

Administrator-level account should be enough in general. However, you can
try registering the module using the in-built Admin account. If that does
not help, download Regmon (www.sysinternals.com) and look for "Access
Denied" or similar errors while registering the DLL
