I received WU for SP3.
I selected Download, So far nothing is happening.
That was 2 hours ago.

Updates are not downloaded or the “Automatic Updates” icon does not display the status of
downloads when you enable the Automatic Updates service

It will happen but it could take several days. This is deliberately done so as not to
stress the MS servers too much.
If you manually download the update, this puts others in the Auto WU line further behind.

Went to WU site had to download windows genuine advantage.
sp3 came up as an update Stating it would take 25 minutes at my download
and installation speed to complete that it did, went smoothly everything
working fine , no problems.
I do believe I had OE7 , now OE properties Show OE6 is this due to SP3?.

There was never an OE7 only IE7.
If you have IE6 or IE7 before the installation of SP3, then you would have the same
version after installation.
