Drive letters not appearing in My Computer
Posted by Adam on February 11th, 2006

Hi. Any external drive I plug in (be it a flash drive or external hard drive)
is not shown under My Computer. However, when I go to save a file, say, in
Word, I see the drive right there and it works fine.

How can I get my drives to display under My Computer so that I can actually
explore them without using Word?

Thanks.

Adam,

Use TweakUI to unhide the drive-letters.

TweakUI v2.00 for Windows XP/XP MCE [564 KB].
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

TweakUI v2.10 for Windows XP SP1/XP MCE/2003 [147 KB].
