Dump of physical memory

Dump of physical memory: Posted by Links on May 21st, 2006; My cousin has just tried to turn on his computer and he got a message saying
"beginning dump of physical memory. Physical memory dump complete." He has
tried going into safe mode and "stop: C000218 (registry file failure)" comes
up and his screen is just black. Is there any way of sorting it out himself
