- DVDs not playing on my computer
- Posted by Victoria Jane on April 13th, 2006
When i attempt to play a DVD on my computer i receive the following error
mesage :: Error Code : F4D41436 - - The TV Out port of your display card is
not working properly. This copy protected disc cannot be played when the TV
out function is enabled.
What can I do to sort out this problem? Ive tried uninstalling and
reinstalling the DVD player program on the computer.

What is the display card, make & model, are the drivers up to date..?
What media player do you use, WMP10 or other...?

Its the Samsung V25 laptop. I doubt the drivers are up to date - the computer
is about a year and a half old and i havent had a check up or anything done
on it. Ive had the dvd player problem for quite a while near (possibly a
year).
For watching DVDs i use the program that came with the computer which is
Cyberlink PowerDVD XP 4.0.
