- to e-mail photos via Outlook, not Express

When in 'My pictures' and selecting to 'e-mail file/ folder' the new e-mail
always opens up in Outlook Express. However I much prefer to use Microsoft
Outlook for everything.
I have searched everywhere but cannot see how to change the default so that
e-mails automatically opens the e-mail in Microsoft Outlook.
I know it can be done because my old, now deceased, computer did that.
Advice would be very much appreciated.
