Erasing search traces

I use ie6 and altavista.com to search. When I type something in the altavista
search box it automatically makes a history of that word. So next time I type
like M, I get the privous word I had typed like Macedonia.
I have used all erasing why's there can be,inc 3rd party software like
Ccleaner but still I don't get ride of the history.

Did you clear your history by any chance?
Tools --> Internet Tools --> Clear History

sometimes you can select each entry. then hit "delete" key.

Hi ... Do the following , Open IE 6 , Then >> Tools >>> Internet Options >>>
Content tab >> Auto Complete >>> Clear forms

Along with CCleaner, go get the free Windows Cleanup
http://www.stevengould.org/software/.../download.html I seems to do a
more in depth clean. Good luck!
