Error Crash
Posted by Linkmaster on December 11th, 2005

Plz I need help.
I get the BSOD screen when I try to play Battlefield 1942. I'm running on a
Intel Pentium 4, have a ATI RADEON 9250SE, and update my computer often. I
have EZ Antivirus and Zone Alarm Pro. Here are the details of the crash.

A device driver has been caught corrupting the system. The faulty device
driver on the kernal stack must be replaced with a new one.

*** STOP: 0x000000c4 (0x00000060,0x00000024,0x00000000,0x00000001)

You appear to have the Driver Verifier utility running on your
computer. Did the error message not also identify the specific
driver involved? It should have.

Good luck

No, it does not say the specific driver involved. What does the Driver
Verifier utility do and how does it affect my computer? How did it get on?
I wrote the error wrong last time. Here is what it exactly said,
" a device driver has been caught trying to corrupt the system. The kernel
currently on the stack must be replaced with a working version"

The driver verifier is included with Windows.

Just use Start - Run - VERIFIER and then restart your computer.

Good luck
