Error deleting file or folder
Posted by jimfelt on November 11th, 2005

Hello. I downloaded to free trial for the game X-com Interceptor. I have the
icon on my documents, and desktop. I double-clicked on it, and it said I have
to be connected to the internet, so I did, and because I have a dial-up
connection, It would take approx. 7 hours to download. I downloaded the file
for about 5 hours into it, and It shut off. I change my mind about the game
and tried to delete the icon off my documents. And I get this message: Error
Deleting file or folder: cannot delete xcominterceptor-dm: It is being used
by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file
and try again. I closed all the background programs, and it still won't
remove. Can anyone please help with this. Thank You, Jim Felt.
These are my scan results with microsoft spyware (beta).

Boot into safe mode and try deleting it from there. If not download
Moveonboot-link below and see if it works.
