Error in Event Viewer on startup...
Posted by Michael C. on October 1st, 2005

Every time I start my puter I get mutiple instances of this error in my Event
Viewer.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The description for Event ID ( 2 ) in Source ( Disk ) cannot be found. The
local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL
files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event:
\Device\Harddisk5\DP(1)0-0+b.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone know what this might mean? Even though the errors are there the
machine seems to function properly.
