and Error Reports over the last 2 days use and post copies here.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools, and
Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information
regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important.

The report you have posted seems not to have come from Event Viewer!
More like a McAfee product!

The file versions referenced in the Error Report are historic.
The version of iexplore.exe is an original dating from the
introduction of Windows XP and that of shdocvw.dll is little
better. It would seem that the operating system has never
been updated.

Does the machine have an internet connection? Is it
broadband ( DSL ) or via a 56 k modem?

Given that to install over 4 years updates is a major change
we need to check the ability of the machine to manage such
a dramatic change.

How much RAM memory? What CPU processor speed?
Right click on the My Computer icon on the Desktop and
select Properties to get this information.

How large is your hard drive? Is it partitioned? How much
free space on each drive / partition? How is the drive /
partition formatted -FAT32 or NTFS? To get this information,
whilst in Windows Explorer, place the cursor on each drive in
turn, right click and select Properties.
