I am getting this message when I go to Windows Update. I tried a fix found
here:

http://groups.google.com/group/micro...f3cc24b6873343

I got an error on this command regsvr32.exe msxml3.dll: 0x80004005.

When I tried to delete the SoftwareDistribution folder I got a message that
this folder cannot be deleted because it is not empty:

7971f918-a847-4430-9279-4a52d1efe18d

Thus, I am stuck here, still unable to access Windows Update.

Thanks.

Grady

Did you try deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder whilst in Safe Mode?

Hope this helps.
