- Everything Is Pink
- Posted by Thorodin on November 29th, 2005
Can someone please help;
I have a pink tinge to everything on screen.
I checked in the colour palette in the Display properties, and the greys
seems to have gone only to be replaced by pinks.
I have tried resetting backto default....no change.

If one colour (RGB) is predominate, check the connection of the video cable.
One end could be loose. If the cable is correctly connected, then the monitor
"could" be "failing."

Make sure the cable connections to the monitor are properly plugged in.

Checked all cables, as suggested, still no difference. As the monitor is
less than 12 months old, I will be contacting PC World with a view to
changing it.(I hope)
Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Monitor has now died and gone to the big graveyard in the sky. PC World has
advised me that Iiyama no longer make the E435S model and it will have to be
replaced with something else. It may take three to four days. He also added
that this is a regular problem with Iiyama LCD monitors.
Thanks again for the help and advice.

John
Did he say why PC World sold Iiyama LCD monitors? Before you agree to a
particular replacement model use Google to search for customers reviews
/ comments and see what feed back there is.
