- Explorer.exe - The application failed to initialize properly

My system is not able to start at all. When I try to log in I get an error
saying that Explorer.EXE failed to initialize properly (0xc050002). When I
click on OK my system just hangs. The only thing I can do is press the power
button to shut the system down.
