- Failure to Boot Dell computer w/ Windows XP
- Posted by Gary on April 2nd, 2006
This morning, computer will not boot---I get a blue screen with a number
C0000135 and a message that says unable to locate component with a number
GDI32.dll not found. What does this mean and how can I fix this?
Thanks

first thing to do is run a ram test from a boot floppy
either memtest86
or the one on the microsoft site
