Favorites in Start Menu
Posted by Primal Oooze on January 27th, 2006

Every time I go to use my 'favorites' list it is shrunk up and I have to click a little chevron to open it up. It also has some
links highlighted or shaded.

Is there any way to have it open up and not have all of these affectations?

Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of your screen.
Select Properties from the menu.
In "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties", click on the Start Menu
tab.
Hit the Customize button.
In the "Advanced Start menu options" box, put a check mark in
the box next to "Scroll
Programs".
Also, look for "Use personalized menus" and remove the check
mark next to this item.

Good luck
