I installed faxing services on y computer. I am running XP and Micosoft Fax
5.1. When I attempt to FAX using this software and a scanner, I get the
follwoing window appear when I try to use the FAX previewer " The FAX
previewer cannot be displayed." This is the firts time I'm trying to use the
FAX services available with my PC. Please email me directly at

That is an interesting topic that I am sure others, including
me, would like to hear about. Please *don't* only reply
directly.

Do you have a third party firewall installed? If so, it could be
interfering with Fax.

Thanks John
That fixed the "Fax previewer cannot be displayed" problem, but when the
previewer opens up, only the FAX cover page appears. Is this normal. I
would have assumed that what I had just scanned would have appeared. I
appreciate the help.

No - you should see all pages that are to be faxed. Please detail the
steps you are going through to prepare the fax - what software are you
scanning with, etc.

In going over the steps, I discovered what I was doing wrong in the
previewer. Everhing seems to be working correctly now. Appreciate the help.
