- File names not visible in Explorer or on command line
- Posted by NetPerson on March 14th, 2006
A user came with her Toshiba L1 (we have around 60 in the school) which
doesn't show the My Doc.s filenames in Explorer or on the command line
(which was a surprise).
They are visible in the Recent Documents and in File - Save As but not
in File - Open. Writing the file name in F. - Open did not work. This
happened without any fiddling or interventions by the user.
Has anyone seen this before and can anyone help me fix it, please?

Shift + View menu - Thumbnails Hides the label for the thumbnails. Repeat to Show (XP)
