- File recovery
- Posted by Mats, Playground on December 2nd, 2005
Hi
I'm trying to help a collegue who have lost a number of files during a
program removal routine.
The program (sync program for a mobile phone) was for some reason installed
directly on the desktop.
When the removal program erased the program files it also managed to swipe
all other files from the location.
I have checked the recycle bin, used a third party file recovery program
from quetek and checked the entire system for possible file transfers but it
does not turn up anywhere.
Does anyoune have a clue to what I might do to retrieve the file?
Thanks
/Mats

Hi,
Active@ Undelete or Uneraser (for DOS) might help you to restore lost
files. The tools worked great for me in a simmilat situation and were
able to bring back literally all of the data. Give it a try, that
should help.
