- Football Manager 05.."The application failed to initialize"

when i insert the football manager cd-rom..the autorun starts the
installation..then it pops up saying "the application failed to
initialize (0xc0000006)...ive been tryin to fix it for a week now and
still unable to fix problem..can anyone help me?
