Hard disk has a program shortcut instead of a hard disk Icon: Posted by jomac08 on September 27th, 2005; Hi,

My hard drive looks like a program in my computer. How can I rescue my C
drive from this installation program, because when I try and click this icon
it tbegins to install the program (that I dont want). I tried to delete the
program but now it asks me for a file called installera.exe its swedish....

Look for a "autorun" program at the root of the C drive and delete it (or
rename it or move it if you're squeamish).
