hi im trying to update my computer from win98 normal edition to win xp
professional and i go through the setup from dos cus i have no recognised cd
drive in win 98. setup loads files to setup and then sais starting windows
then cums up with this error

Stop: c0000221 unknown hard error \systemroot\system32\ntd11.d11

it does the same with a nother copy of xp so it cant be the disk
and i have no other ideas and cant find out what the error stands for
