My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
As it's both of them I'd suggest that it's upperfilters and lowerfilters...

GALEN,
Thanks for the help. I will try it tonight and see if it works. Basically
what happened is the following:
-I have 2 drives: (Pioneer DVD/RW/CD-RW and ARTEC CD-RW)
-I burn cd's on the ARTEC and burn DVD's on the Pioneer.
-The cd burner can read CD's, it even acts like it is burning with Nero, but
when the cd is done, it says successful. I take it out but nothing is burned.
-The dvd can play dvd's but it won't copy or burn them anymore. It tries
but then freezes up.
-it happened all of a sudden, and both stopped working at the same time.
- I upgraded my Norton 2006 and no viruses
-I ran Adaware several times and i have removed everything
-I ran Privacy eraser several times and have removed all trash
Weird huh? I will try your suggestion and let you know.
Thanks,
Dallas

I tried to delete the upper/lower filters in my registry but it still didn't
work. Any other ideas? Thanks again!
